MacKintosh led his men in retreat around the head of Loch Eil to the Ardgour shore and rallied his men. MacKintosh battit en retraite avec ses hommes jusqu'à l'extrémité du Loch Eil au rivage d'Ardgour et y a rassemblé ses troupes.
